I was shocked at the willingness to help. My previous experience with other automotive issues hasn't been so clean-cut, so when they said they would check my brakes because of the sound they were making without charge, I was literally flabbergasted. Because it was a safety issue, it was a no-charge inspection even though they had to take the system apart, and they wanted me to be safe while on the road. When I picked up my car, at no cost to me because work didn't need to be done, (it must have been a rock lodged in the rotors and had broken loose) they gave me an estimate for when my brake pads needed to be replaced. This allowed for peace of mind and to set aside the amount I am going to need when the repair is required. They have certainly found a customer for life.

I knew I needed work done and it was long over due, after calling around for quotes on a new cat I was getting stressed because the lowest price was $2200. After I got referred to them through a co worker I gave them a call and I could not be more happy with the service. They made sure that I wasn’t going to be paying for things I didn’t need and laid everything out that should be done and what needs to be done and the price for each. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They went above and beyond my expectations and made the stressful experience of mechanic work as easy as possible. They will be my go to for any future work.

I've gone here 2 times in the last year and both times I've been so surprised with how kind and helpful they are. I cant imagine going anywhere else

We have had issues with dishonesty & manipulation at both of the Silverlake locations and will no longer be doing business with them. Now we have to buy a new set of tires and find another shop that can fix instead of cause damage to our vehicle. So frustrating. Called yesterday to schedule a simple flat repair (tiny nail in the tread, not sidewall). They said they could fit us in the next day so we dropped it off early in the morning (we were the only customers present at drop off- they did not seem busy). Drove by the shop and they had taken the SUV into the shop around lunch time. We get a call right before closing saying they patched the nail hole but the valve stem broke. They tried to replace the valve stem and it still has a "slow leak" and "isn't repairable". So they quoted us almost $1,000 for a new set of tires because we have all wheel drive. They tried to act like they were doing us a favor that they could get us new tires out the door by close after it had been there for 8 hours (We're assuming they broke the tire at lunch and got a new set of tires and purposefully waited until the end of the day to call us to pressure a sale). A $25 simple fix turned into a $1,000 estimate which we declined.
